SYNOPSIS

The broad low over the western and central Mediterranean is deepening and spreading a trough toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and S winds 14-28, in places up to 36 knots, easing in the North Adriatic in the evening. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly late in the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to near gale force SE and S winds, in the North Adriatic easing briefly to moderate to fresh and turning in places to SW. Sea slight and moderate, in places of the Central and South Adriatic up to rough. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places.
