SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening and shifting southeastwards, while a shallow trough over the western Mediterranean is gradually deepening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 10-20, in the afternoon to 12-24 knots, firstly in the open sea. Sea 2-3, increasing toward the end of the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with scatterd rain, from midday with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. In the Central and South Adriatic mostly clear, in the afternoon and toward the end of the day along the coast variably cloudy, and during the night with a little rain in places.
