SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, but a trough over the western Mediterranean is expected to deepen.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 6-16 knots, dying away later on. Elsewhere SE winds strengthening to 6-16, in the North Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the north of the Adriatic fine or fair.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain. Elsewhere mostly clear. Light to fresh SE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
