SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest, while a field of low pressure lies over the Tyrrhenian and Ionian Sea.

NE, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic SE and E winds, 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 35 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel and toward the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, toward the open sea with a risk of a little rain or isolated rain showers and thunder. Rather cold.
