SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure from the European land is slowly weakening over the Adriatic, while unstable air is still circulating over the western and central Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE and E winds 4-12, in the Velebit Channel NE 6-16, in places in the morning and during the night up to 20 knots. Elsewhere calm or variable winds 4-12, toward the end of the day and during the night in the northern part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel possibly 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy, still with a risk of a little rain in the morning, and partial clearing toward the end of the day and during the night. Elsewhere mostly clear with moderate passing cloudiness at times.
