SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure from the European land over the Adriatic has weakened a little, but it will still keep a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW and NE winds 4-14, turning during the day to E and SE, and along the coast of the North Adriatic still NE winds. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 12-22, easing during the day to 6-14 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic NE and E winds 10-20 knots, easing rapidly. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South Adriatic, during the night of the North, and in the Velebit Channel, up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear and warm, but cloud increase is expected in the North and Central Adriatic late in the day.
