SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the northeast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and SW, along the coast in the morning NE winds, 4-10, in places of the North Adriatic up to 14, and in the Velebit Channel up to 18 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel at first still 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, in the morning even to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear with some variabile cloudiness in the open sea.
