IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL IN THE FIRST PART OF THE NIGHT A RISK OF LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF FOG PATCHES DURING THE NIGHT.
SYNOPSIS
The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the northeast.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW and SW winds 4-12, during the night calm or NE winds 4-10 knots. In the Velebit Channel, during the night in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel in the first part of the night up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel possibily 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places during the night around 5 km due to mist, or even less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear.

Calm or light, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the night, up to moderate NE winds. Sea calm or smooth. A risk of mist, in places of fog as well. Mostly clear.
