DURING THE FORENOON IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC, IN THE EVENING ONLY IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL, GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF FOG DURING THE NIGHT.
SYNOPSIS
The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the northeast.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW and SW, along the coast in the morning NE winds, 4-12 knots. In the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds 8-18, in places up to 22 knots, easing mainly around midday, and strengthening again in the Velebit Channel in the evening. Sea 1-2, in the extreme south and in the Velebit Channel up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Sunny and warm.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Calm or variable winds up to 10 knots. In the North Adriatic light, in the Velebit Channel up to moderate, and only in places still up to fresh, NE winds. Sea calm or smooth. A risk of mist and fog here and there. Mostly clear.
