The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 6-12, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 22, easing and turning to NW 6-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic, toward the Strait of Otranto, in the morning 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear with some variable cloudiness in the South Adriatic in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Clear skies, only in the South Adriatic variably cloudy. Light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel strong and near gale force NE winds. Toward the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the Velebit Channel up to moderate before the morning.
