SYNOPSIS

The field of very high pressure lies over the Adriatic, but it is expected to weaken gradually tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 16-28, in places up to 36, easing from midday to 12-24 knots, firstly in the North and in a part of the Central, then gradually in the South Adriatic, except in the extreme south, and turning briefly in the open sea to NW 8-18 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 4-5, calming in the northern part in the afternoon to 2-3. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear.

Moderate to strong NE winds, in the southern part near gale force, and in the extreme south up to gale force. Sea smooth or slight, in the southern part moderate, and in the open of the extreme south up to rough. Fair.
