The ridge of high pressure has intensified over the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

THE NORTH ADRIATIC: NW and W, in places along the coast this morning NE winds, 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear. THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC: Mainly NW and W, in places along the coast NE winds, 4-14, in the South Adriatic at first NE up to 20 knots. From midday in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.

Light to moderate NW and NE winds. Sea smooth, in the South Adriatic up to slight. Mostly clear, but partial cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.
