The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-12, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots, easing a little later in the day. In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic during the night NW, along the coast NE winds 4-12, only in places up to 16 knots, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-20, in places up to 24 knots, mainly in the extreme south. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to fresh, in places up to strong NE winds, mainly in the extreme south, easing a little during the forenoon. Elsewhere light NW, along the coast NE winds, only in the Velebit Channel up to moderate. Sea smooth, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to slight, in the extreme south possibly up to moderate.
