The ridge of high pressure is gradually intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, along the coast in the morning NE winds, 6-16, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon NW briefly up to 20 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 8-18, in places up to 22 knots, mainly in the morning. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the morning mainly in the open and in the afternoon in places along the coast, variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
