The ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is inflowing in high levels from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-10, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 18 knots, gradually dying away. In places along the coast this morning NE winds 4-14, and around midday SW and W 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, locally at first up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the open of the South Adriatic and in the afternoon all along the Adriatic coast, a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
