IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

The field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW, along the coast during the night NE winds, 4-14, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2, locally up to 3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, in places variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate NW and NE winds. In the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds up to fresh, easing briefly around midday. Sea smooth, only in the places up to slight. Mostly clear.
