SYNOPSIS

The field of mean or a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds, along the coast in the afternoon SW, 4-12, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 16 knots. Along the coast in the morning NE winds 4-12, in the Velebit Channel 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel, from midday in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic possibly 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in places along the coast in the afternoon variably cloudy with a risk of brief isolated rain showers with thunder.

Light, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still up to moderate NW, and along the coast during the night light, in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh, NE winds. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear, but in places at first still variably cloudy with a risk of brief isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast.
