SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, along the coast W winds, 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon up to 20 knots. Along the coast in the morning NE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, west and north of Istria 1-2. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear. Along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate, in the South and Central Adriatic during the day still up to fresh NW winds. Along the coast during the night light to moderate NE winds. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
