The ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-10, strengthening to 6-16, along the coast of the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon up to 20 knots. In the Velebit Channel this morning still a risk of NE winds 5-15 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast in the afternoon.

Mostly clear with a very little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast at first. Light to moderate, locally in the open of the South Adriatic up to fresh NW, and along the coast calm or light to moderate NE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
