The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the open sea NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Along the coast this morning NE winds 6-16, only in places possibly up to 20 knots. Around midday and in the afternoon NW and W winds 10-20, only in places possibly up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, possibly up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but still with a very little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic.

Mostly clear, but still with a very little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic at first, and in the extreme north of the Adriatic tomorrow. In the open sea light to fresh NW winds. Along the coast light to moderate NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel possibly up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, possibly up to moderate.
