SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the west, while a high level trough is shifting slowly across the Adriatic westwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

N and NW winds 12-22 knots. In the North, during the night along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic, NE winds 10-20, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 26, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Toward the end of the day partial clearing, firstly in the north of the Adriatic, but in the extreme south still isolated rain showers and thunder.
