SYNOPSIS

The shallow high level trough is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds strengthening to 8-18, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 22 knots, in places along the coast during the night NE 4-14, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but gradual clearing is expected late in the day and during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

NW, in places along the coast during the night and tomorrow morning NE winds as well, light to moderate, and in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh, in the open sea possibly up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
