SYNOPSIS

The shallow high level trough is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds turning to NE, then to NW, 5-15, only in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon, but gradual clearing is expected late in the day.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
