SYNOPSIS

The shallow trough will be shifting across the Adriatic further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 4-14, in the open sea strengthening briefly during the night up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the evening to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Partly clear and in places variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain and thunder, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Toward the end of the day and in the evening heavier cloud increase all over the Adriatic, bringing rain, showers and thunder in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate, in the open sea up to fresh SE and SW, turning in places to NW and NE winds. Sea smooth or slight. Overcast with rain, heavier isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
