WARNING
A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC, MAINLY IN THE EXTREME NORTH AND ALONG THE COAST IN THE AFTERNOON.
SYNOPSIS
The ridge of high pressure from the northwest has intensified toward the Adriatic, while some unstable air still lies in the high levels.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW and W winds 4-14, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 18, and along the coast in the morning calm or NE winds 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon 3-4, and along the coast in the morning 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly sunny and hot. In places of the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the extreme north, in the afternoon along the coast as well, particularly in the wider area of Rijeka.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Light NW, along the coast calm or NE winds. Sea calm or smooth, at first still up to slight. Mostly clear. Cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night.
