SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure from the northwest lies over the Adriatic, while some unstable air lies in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Along the coast NE winds 12-20, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24, turning around midday to NW 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 24 knots. In the open sea NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central, at first in the North Adriatic as well, up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but still with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic around midday and in the afternoon.

Mostly clear. Along the coast calm or light NE, in the South Adriatic light to moderate, at first still up to fresh NE winds.
