LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE NORTH AND SOUTH ADRIATIC UP TO 60 KNOTS. A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC DURING THE FORENOON AND IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOMORROW MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest, while a low is expected to deepen south of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-26, in the North and South Adriatic up to 32 knots, easing possibly in places along the coast around midday and turning briefly in the open sea to NW, and strengthening again late in the day. Sea 3-4. Visibility 20 km. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic fair or mainly cloudy with a risk of scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open of the South Adriatic.
