THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT. LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT.

The field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a cold front is approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-10, around midday and in the afternoon up to 14 knots. Sea 1-2, locally along the coast in the afternoon and in the North Adriatic during the night 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, around midday and in the afternoon along the coast cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly light, in the North Adriatic up to moderate SE and SW, in the second part of the night in the extreme north of the Adriatic turning to fresh NE winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the North Adriatic up to slight. Fine or fair, but in the extreme north of the Adriatic in the second part of the night heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder.
