SYNOPSIS

The shallow trough is slowly shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the open sea NW winds 8-18, in the South and Central Adriatic today still up to 24 knots. Along the coast variable winds, in the evening NE 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open in the afternoon 3-4, and calming along the coast in the evening to 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected firstly in the North, in the evening gradually in the Central Adriatic as well.

Along the coast mainly light NE, only in places up to moderate, and in the open sea moderate to fresh NW winds. Sea smooth, in the open up to slight. Gradual clearing along the coast of the southern part as well.
