The field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16 knots, easing a little during the night. Along the coast W and SW winds 4-14, during the night calm or NE 4-12 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, only locally 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist. Mostly clear. Along the coast in the afternoon variably cloudywith a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
