The field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 5-15 knots. Along the coast in the afternoon W and SW winds 5-15, and during the night calm or NE winds 4-10, in the North Adriatic up to 14, and in the Velebit Channel up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, only locally up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast this afternoon variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light, only in places up to moderate NW winds. Along the coast during the night calm or light, in the North Adriatic up to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE winds, easing in the morning. Sea smooth, only locally up to slight.
