SYNOPSIS

The shallow trough is approaching from the west, while a field of a little lowered air pressure will stay over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and E winds 4-12 knots. Along the coast of the North Adriatic at first NE winds 4-14, in the Velebit Channel up to 18 knots. Sea 1-2, locally at first possibly 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist around 4 km. Fine or fair, in places variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate, in a part of the North and Central Adriatic in the morning briefly up to fresh, SE and E winds. Sea smooth, locally during the forenoon possibly up to slight. Mist in places. Gradual heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder.
