The shallow field of low pressure over the Adriatic is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW winds 4-12, in the North Adriatic in the morning NE strengthening briefly up to 16, in the Velebit Channel up to 20 knots. In the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 8-18 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central, and in the North Adriatic briefly in the morning, up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, only in places along the coast variably cloudy with a risk of rain, showers and thunder, mainly in the afternoon.

Light NW and NE winds and sea smooth. In the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds up to moderate and sea slight. Fine or fair, only in places along the coast variably cloudy with a little risk of scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
