WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE, locally in the open NW winds, 6-16, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 22 knots. Elsewhere variable winds, toward the open during the night SE 4-12, in the southern part up to 16 knots. Sea 1-2, locally in the North Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic and particularly in the evening and during the night.

In the North Adriatic light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE winds, easing during the forenoon. Elsewhere light variable winds, in the open sea mainly light SE, in the southern part during the night up to moderate. Sea smooth, locally in the North Adriatic during the night up to slight. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain or showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
