SYNOPSIS

The low over the central Mediterranean is slowly filling up, while moist and unstable air is still circulating over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and E winds 10-20, at first up to 26, easing in the evening to 6-16 knots. In the North Adriatic NE winds 4-14, only in places up to 20 knots, mainly in the extreme north of the Adriatic during the night. Sea 3-4, calming toward the end of the day and during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with occasional scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light to moderate SE and E winds, dying away in the morning and giving way later on to mainly light NW. In the North Adriatic light to moderate, in places up to fresh NE winds, mainly in the extreme north during the night and in the Velebit Channel during the forenoon. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
