DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and E, ALONG THE COAST BRIEFLY OF NE WINDS, 35-40, IN THE OPEN SEA UP TO 45 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

The low centered southwest of Sicily is deepening and shifting slowly toward the Tyrrhenian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and E winds gradually strengthening to 12-22 knots, firstly in the open sea. In the North Adriatic NE and E winds 6-16, in places in the evening up to 20 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, in the open in the evening to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain, mainly in the North Adriatic. Gradual heavier cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day.

In the greater part of the Adriatic moderate to strong SE and E winds, in the open sea strengthening up to near gale force, and turning briefly along the coast to NE. In the North Adriatic mainly up to fresh NE and E winds. Sea slight, in the open up to moderate. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, firstly in the open sea.
