SYNOPSIS

The field of a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened front will be shifting mainly across the north part of the Adriatic further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds, turning gradually to NW 6-16, in places up to 20 knots, except along the coast of the southern part. In the North Adriatic SW winds 6-16, in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist. Mostly clear with some variable cloudiness in places and with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to fresh NW and W, along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds. Toward the morning winds will ease a little, then will turn again in the Central and in the open of the South Adriatic to light, in places up to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth, locally during the night up to slight. Mist here and there. In places variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
