IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON STILL LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and E WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. A LITTLE RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC. FOG HERE AND THERE.

SYNOPSIS

The field of low pressure over the central Mediterranean is slowly filling up, while a frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic. A ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify gradually from the north tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Central and South Adriatic SE and E winds 12-24 knots, easing gradually, and in the northern part of the Adriatic variable winds 4-12, in the Bay of Kvarneriæ in the afternoon still SE up to 16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, calming gradually. Visibility 10-20, in places around 2 km due to mist, or even less than 1 km due to fog. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places, and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light winds, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still moderate SE and E, turning in the northern part toward midday to NW and NE. Sea calm or smooth, in the south at first up to slight. Mist in places and a risk of fog patches. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places, and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
