IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC A LITTLE RISK OF FOG PATCHES, MAINLY THIS MORNING. A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a shallow trough with frontal disturbance will be approaching from the west during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds gradually strengthening to 6-16, in places in the afternoon and toward the end of the day up to 20 knots, mainly in the Central Adriatic. Sea 1-2, increasing gradually to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic this morning possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear with some passing clouds in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic around midday.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to fresh SE winds, strengthening from the middle of the night to moderate to strong. Sea slight, in the second part of the night increasing to moderate. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected from the middle of the night, firstly in the open sea.
