LOCAL GUSTS OF SE, TOMORROW OF SW WINDS, 35-55, IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC UP TO 60 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY 5, IN THE EXTREME SOUTH TOMORROW TOWARD MIDDAY UP TO 6. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

The shallow field of low pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-28, in places up to 36 knots. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist reduced to around 4 km. Variably cloudy with light scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder mainly in the evening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and gale force SE winds will turn in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward midday to SW and it will ease later on. Sea moderate and rough, in the extreme south of the Adriatic increasing up to very rough. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
