SYNOPSIS

The shallow field of low pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is approaching slowly from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 5-15, strengthening in the North, during the day gradually in the rest of the Adriatic, to 10-20, in the evening to 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the evening up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of rain, in the evening of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Moderate to strong SE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Variably and mainly cloudy, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic with rain in places, and in the North Adriatic with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder.
