SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is slowly approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds gradually strengthening to 6-16 knots. Elsewhere calm or NW winds 4-12, in the extreme south of the Adriatic in the afternoon up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in the north of the Adriatic at first possibly around 4 km due to mist. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy, in the second part of the night with scattered rain in the wider area of Rijeka. Elsewhere fine or fair. SE winds will strengthen to light to moderate, in the North and Central Adriatic up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight.
