SYNOPSIS

The low over the South Adriatic is slowly filling up, still keeping an unsettled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 8-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24, easing through the day and turning in the open in the afternoon to NW 8-16 knots. Toward the open sea of the South Adriatic SE winds 10-18 knots, easing later on. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mostly clear, elsewhere variably cloudy with scattered rain and brief isolated rain showers with thunder. No significant change in air temperatures.

Mostly clear. In the extreme south of the Adriatic variably cloudy, still with a risk of light scattered rain or brief isolated rain showers. Along the coast light NE, toward the open sea light to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to slight.
