SEA LOCALLY 5, IN THE OPEN OF THE NORTH AND OF A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC POSSIBLY UP TO 6 TODAY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The field of low pressure still lies over the South Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure is briefly intensifying from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 16-34, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 42, in the Velebit Channel up to 50 knots. In the greater part of the South Adriatic SE winds 14-26 knots, turning gradually toward the end of the day to NE and strengthening. Sea 3-4, toward the open 4-5, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic possibly up to 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, in places along the coast with a risk of snow.

Strong and gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to storm force NE winds. Sea moderate and rough. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, in places along the coast with a risk of snow. Partial clearing is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic.
