LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS EXPECTED TOWARD THE OPEN SEA IN THE SECOND PART OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT. STILL A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

The shallow field of low pressure over the Adriatic keeps an unsettled weather, while a deep low with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Almost calm at first, but SE winds strengthening during the day to 8-16, toward the open in the afternoon to 12-24 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, elsewhere mostly clear at first, but gradual cloud increase is expected there as well during the day. No significant change in air temperatures.

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers with thunder. Moderate to strong, toward the open sea up to near gale force SE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
