SYNOPSIS

The shallow field of low pressure keeps an unsettled weather over the Adriatic, while a new deep trough is expected to approach from the west tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW, along the coast variable winds, 4-14 knots, dying away in the evening. Sea 1-2, in the South Adriatic still 2-3 today. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or possibly less than 1 km due to fog,mainly in the open sea of the North Adriatic. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the southern part of the Adriatic. Partial clearing is expected in the North Adriatic late in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Partial clearing in the rest of the Adriatic as well, but a new cloud increase from the west is expected tomorrow morning, bringing rain and a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Mist in places and a risk of fog here and there, mainly in the open of the North Adriatic. SE winds gradually strengthening to light to moderate, tomorrow morning to moderate and fresh, firstly in the northern part. Sea gradually increasing to slight.
