SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the west is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is expected to approach from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, only locally up to 3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the extreme north of the Adriatic during the night. Mostly clear, but partial cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Gradual cloud increase, bringing light scattered rain in the North Adriatic, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka. A risk of fog patches, mainly in the extreme north of the Adriatic during the night. Light to moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh SE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
