A trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the west.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds strengthening to 15-30, turning locally in the open late in the day to NW 12-26 knots. In the North Adriatic NE winds 10-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain and with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Moderate to strong NW, in the North Adriatic NE winds easing in places to light, and in the South Adriatic moderate, in the extreme south up to fresh SW winds.
