TOMORROW BEFORE THE MORNING LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and E, IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC OF SE WINDS, 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AND A RISK OF FOG PATCHES, MAINLY IN THE OPEN OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure will intensify briefly from the north, while a new low with frontal disturbance is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in the North Adriatic NE winds, 6-16, easing gradually to 4-12 knots. Late in the day and during the night NE and E, toward the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic SE winds, strengthening gradually to 6-16, SE in the open up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic at first 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, or even less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the open sea of the North Adriatic. Fine or fair, in the south of the Adriatic at first variably cloudy with a risk of rain or isolated rain showers and thunder. A new cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day and during the night, bringing rain and a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

NE and E, toward the open of the South and Central Adriatic SE winds, strengthening to moderate to strong. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the open toward midday to moderate.
