SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure will intensify briefly from the north, while a new low with frontal disturbance is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 10-20, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 28, in places along the coast NE 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. In the North Adriatic during the forenoon and in the rest of the Adriatic in the afternoon, winds will ease and die away, only in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme north of the Adriatic still NE winds 6-16 knots.
